BC athletes commit to play their sports at college level

WEST COLUMBIA, SC -- Several Brookland-Cayce High School athletes have committed to playing their sports at the college level. Here is a look at some of the athletes who have participated in recent signing ceremonies at the school:

 

  • Baseball player Ty Marshall has committed to play baseball at Clemson University. His coaches past and present, along with teammates, family members, faculty and staff, and others, attended his November signing ceremony. Marshall, a catcher, said he grew up watching Clemson baseball and has “always wanted to go to Clemson.”

 

  • Softball player Gracie Walker has declared her intent to play her sport with Limestone College. Walker, an outfielder, has been playing with Brookland-Cayce softball since seventh grade. She participated in a December signing ceremony, attended by coaches, teammates, fellow students, and family members. 
 
Other recent commitments:
  • Football player Jayden Johnson has committed to play at The Citadel.
  • Football player Tanner Staton has declared his intent to play at Elon University.
