Career Specialist

Hi, My name is Doreen Sizemore and I am the Career Specialist at Brookland-Cayce High school!

I am a proud parent of three children who are products of  Lexington 2 schools, graduated from Brookland-Cayce and went on to graduate from Winthrop, and Clemson Universities. I have been on staff here since 2016 and have been the Career Specialist since 2022.

As the CDF my goal is to help your student discover what thier career and college dreams are, help them understand the relationship between academics, careers, and educational planning and how this can help them achieve their future goals and be successful individuals in our 21st century work force. We will explore with college tours, career speakers, career assesments, industry field studies and more.

I am a graduate of Kempsville High School (Va. Beach, Virginia) and Barton College, (Wilson, NC). I have a BS in Communications and I am a certified Global Career Development Facilitator. I have been married to my college sweetheart for 35 years and we have three children, two grandchildren, and three furry babies. I am proud to work for Lexington Two and love being a part of the BC family! GO BEARCATS!
