Required immunizations for the 2023-2024 school year

WEST COLUMBIA, SC -- The SC Department of Health and Environmental Control has updated its list of required immunizations for the 2023-2024 school year.

Don’t wait until the end of summer to get your child’s vaccinations! Students must have a complete SC Certificate of Immunization for school entry.  Contact your health care provider or get vaccines through the SC Department of Health and Environmental Control health departments by calling (855) 472-3432 for an appointment.

The first day of classes for the new school year in Lexington Two is Monday, August 7.

FREE IMMUNIZATION EVENTS IN LEXINGTON COUNTY

AUGUST 3-4

The Lexington County Health Department is having two events on Thursday and Friday, August 3 and 4, from 9:30-4pm to help students get FREE immunizations for school.   No appointment is necessary.  The department is at 1070 S Lake Drive, Lexington.

 

AUGUST 5

Free immunizations will be offered as part of the Tools for Schools event, set for 10am-12pm on Saturday, August 5, at the South Congaree Arena, 395 Oak Street, West Columbia. Email [email protected] with any questions.
