Brookland-Cayce High School has been named a National Banner School through Special Olympics Unified Champion Schools.

The National Recognition Program honors schools that show a deep commitment to inclusion by meeting 10 national standards of excellence. Schools that achieve National Banner status successfully blend three primary pillars: Special Olympics Unified Sports, with students with and without intellectual disabilities training and playing together; inclusive youth leadership; and whole-school engagement and inclusion campaigns.

Brookland-Cayce will receive a National Banner for the school in coming weeks.
