WEST COLUMBIA, SC -- Busbee Creative Arts Academy and Brookland-Cayce High School Archery Teams have achieved an unprecedented milestone by qualifying for the South Carolina NASP State Tournament in both the IBO and Bullseye categories.
The achievement marks the first time in the program's history that both schools and both teams have secured qualification for the prestigious state tournament.
Following standout performances at the St James State Qualifier on March 9, the Busbee Creative Arts Archery team clinched 1st place in both the IBO and Bullseye categories and the Brookland-Cayce High School Archery team secured a 2nd place in both categories as well. Both archery teams are poised to showcase their exceptional skills at the upcoming state tournament.
The South Carolina NASP State Tournament will take place at the State Fairgrounds in Columbia, bringing together top archery teams from across the state. High school archers will compete on March 27, followed by middle school competitors on March 28.
The teams from Busbee and Brookland-Cayce High School’s Archery Team are ready to make their mark on the state stage, their coach said.
