College & Career Readiness

 
What is College & Career Readiness? CCR is a South Carolina initiative designed to promote students obtaining the qualities believed to be necessary to be successful in the work force or in college classes. Students will be recognized for meeting the below criteria that demonstrate these qualities.
 
 
How to be College Ready:
In order to achieve College Readiness, students must earn one of the following:
  • SAT score of 1020 or higher
  • ACT score of 20 or higher
  • AP score of 3 or higher (any subject)
  • Dual Enrollment - 6 credit hours with a grade of C or higher.
 
How to be Career Ready:
In order to achieve College Readiness, students must earn one of the following:
  • CATE program completer
  • WIN score of 3+ (all sections)
  • ASVAB score of 31 or higher
  • Work-Based-Learning 
 
 
Senior Release & Early Graduation
In order for students to be approved for Senior Release or Early Graduation, they must have already achieved College OR Career Readiness by meeting any of the above criteria.
